Terms of Service
Last updated 19 October 2026
These terms cover the Thinkdown apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch and the web app at app.thinkdown.app. By using Thinkdown you agree to them. If you get Thinkdown from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Your account and your notes
- You need an account to use Thinkdown. Keep access to the email address or Apple ID you sign in with.
- Your recordings and notes are yours. You let Thinkdown store and process them only to run the service for you, as the Privacy Policy explains.
- Don't use Thinkdown to break the law, to record people where that isn't allowed, or to overload or attack the service.
Free use and paid plans
Thinkdown is free to use today, within the monthly recording limit shown in the app. If and when we offer a paid plan such as Thinkdown Pro, these terms apply to it:
- Before you pay. The plan's price and what it includes are shown before you subscribe. Nothing is charged without you choosing to subscribe.
- Free trial. A subscription may start with a free trial, once per account. If you don't cancel before it ends, the subscription starts and you're charged.
- Renewal. A subscription renews automatically each month or year at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and it stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Subscribed in the app. Apple handles payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds. Manage it in your Apple account settings on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.
- Subscribed on the web. Stripe handles payment. You can manage or cancel it in Thinkdown's Settings. For a refund, email us.
- A subscription belongs to your Thinkdown account and works on every device you sign in to.
- If a price changes, you'll be told before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
The service
Thinkdown uses AI to transcribe and rewrite what you say. It can make mistakes, so check anything important. We work to keep Thinkdown running and your notes safe, but the service is provided as is, without a guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Thinkdown is not liable for indirect losses or for more than you paid in the 12 months before a claim.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Account, which removes your notes and recordings. If you have a web subscription, deleting your account cancels it; a subscription bought in the app must be cancelled in your Apple account settings. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
